Henckels Professional S 8 Piece Block Set

Dangerously poor quality - Within 6 months of buying this set the cooks knife blade became dented (not even a £5 knife does that) - and get this, the vegetable knife snapped in half when I was using it to cut some cheese! Incredible. Reported this to trading standards as could be very dangerousI will NEVER buy henckels again. Load of rubbish and very dangerous.

Worth every penny - I bought this set of knives about a year ago. I waited a bit for the novelty to wear off before writing review. But that did not happen. I am still just as happy using them now as I was a year ago. We don t cook a great deal but I would say more than average family. I did not have to touch them for a past year and they are still razor sharp as they were the first day. Perfectly balanced, razor sharp, perfect grip. What more do you want?Buy these and you will not regret it.

disappointing - i purchased this set of knives last year, and have been disappointed in the quality, so far the wooden block has come apart, the grasps in the scissors have fallen out, and on two knives the pop rivetts have fallen out. i thought these knives would last more than a year. very disappointing

A great set of knives - I have had these for a year and would highly recommend them. They are a great set of knives to use in the kitchen - sharp, well-balanced and look nice too. They look like they will last forever.

Sharp and well balanced. - Although not cheap for a set of household kitchen knives I would still recommend these because if looked after properly they will last you for years. The knives feel comfortably solid and well balanced in the hand and really are sharp. Furthermore, they maintain their sharpness really well. I’m happy with this purchase and wouldn’t hesitate recommending them. One minor gripe is that after only a few weeks the Henckels sticker is coming off one of the knives but this is too minor to even cost it a star.
